Printed flexible packaging may be supplied as a single layer, or laminating the print layer to further layer or layers of film modifies the properties of the finished packaging to achieve a variety of objectives. We can add anti-mist or gas barrier properties, extra strength, change the sealing characteristics or the decorative effect by selecting the appropriate laminate structure.

We can also apply decorative or functional coatings, such as matt lacquer or cold seal adhesive to serve a specific purpose.

FFP operates four modern laminating lines, with a range of adhesive systems to suit the needs of the specific line.

Once the adhesive cures, the reel of film is ready to be slit down to size and despatched to you. FFP operates a slitting shop second to none, including a superfast Titan slitter that features the latest slitting technology with flying splice and robotic unload and packing.

Throughout the passage of the design through the factory rigorous quality control is applied. From the supply of materials to the press, the experienced eye of our experienced and highly skilled print foremen to pass the print, and laboratory checks throughout, we make sure that you get exactly what you ordered from us.
