FFP operate two W&H Miraflex presses

To make sure that your design will print perfectly when it gets on press, we have an experienced and fully trained Originations team, who will work with your designers and the designated repro house to make sure the artwork file is set up perfectly to give us the best results. We hold huge stocks of print sleeves (the printing plates are mounted on sleeves before they are installed on press) and anilox rollers to make sure that there are no compromises in your print. Computer-aided mounting systems set up the print to pinpoint accuracy, and the decades of experience of our printers make sure you can rely on FFP to give you the best possible print result for your pack.

Platinum Print

Platinum Print is the result of two years work and investment in technique and equipment. The introduction of the amazing Miraflex printing press, with its range of advanced features, including automatic wash-up, ink viscosity control, impression and register setting, all of which lead to quick and efficient set up and changeover. FFP have even specified a 42” video monitor so that the full width of the print web can be checked simultaneously. In-house platemaking has been beefed up with the installation of an Esko Spark 4835 digital imaging unit, which has the capacity of producing plates up to 250 lines per inch.
