News: FFP achieves ISO 9001:2000


FFP is proud to announce that we have achieved accreditation to the ISO9001:2000 quality standard.

This is the latest version of the quality standard, and improves over the previous standard by shifting the quality emphasis from the reporting of procedures to a focus on continuous improvements to the overall processes of the business.

The dreaded "Quality Manual" has been reduced in size and complexity to the point where it is possible for all employees to have a personal copy, with specific procedures maintained on the company computer network.

The auditors commented that it was “rare” to find a company that had embraced the new standard so wholeheartedly.

FFP have already seen benefits from the new system, as teams have formed to push through changes and improvements.
