FFP’s plastic-free pouch won ‘Best Promotional Print’ at the prestigious FlexoTech awards presented on October 10th at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, proving that packaging can be planet-friendly and still pack all the promotional punch that a brand needs.

In environmental terms, FFP’s pouch is a high performer. Pouches are lighter and efficient to transport, giving brand owners green benefits in terms of reduced vehicle movements and easier storage, while delivering exceptional stand-out on shelf with a large area to deliver the brand’s message. FFP are firmly behind the pouch format, with a second pouch manufacturing line on order for installation at the end of the year. FFP’s plasticfree pouches also deliver on sustainability promises made and the move towards reducing plastics in packaging.

That said, from a brand’s point of view the pack still has to fulfil its other primary function, delivering a strong shelf presence. FFP have been in the forefront of print technology, pioneering HD flexo through their Platinum Print process, enhanced by a fully colour-managed workflow. The winning pouches were printed in Fixed Colour Palette plus white (CMYK + White).
