Award winning and unrivalled flexographic print expertise
FFP is extremely proud of its multi-award winning flexographic print capabilities. We have been honoured to receive a string of awards stretching back decades including numerous Gold awards from the internationally respected EFIA (Previously EFTA) competition.
These awards reflect the dedication and commitment the team at FFP have demonstrated in developing the flexographic print process to produce outstanding and unrivalled print quality.
We are a registered Pantone® Live printer and are fully committed to outstanding colour management. This is a critical part of the control of quality and brand standards and our strict workflow system allows us to accurately predict and control colour through pre-press to the final print on press ensuring brand consistency across your range.
- FFP have two world leading, 8-colour W&H Miraflex Presses on site in Northampton.
- In-house digital platemaking – we are one of very few converters that can offer this capability in-house with our Esko Spark 4835 digital imaging unit, which can produce plates up to 250 lines per inch. This unique in-house capability allows for greater flexibility and control, whilst assisting to reduce lead times. FFP is fully certified to supply print under the Esko HD Flexo system.
- Platinum Print – FFP’s own high definition flexo print is the result of two years of research pushing the boundaries of the flexographic print process. However, we haven’t stopped there…we are still constantly striving to develop new techniques to further drive creativity and expand the range of possibilities that can be achieved through flexographic printing and create outstanding and vibrant shelf presence for your packaging.
Our experienced design solutions team will work with you to ensure your artwork file is perfectly set-up in order to produce the best results for your printed packaging.
FFP are experts in flexographic print and have researched and optimised every aspect of the process, down to and including the tapes used for mounting the printing plates to the sleeves.
